Rehabilitation Protocol

Elbow Arthroscopy

Protocol Overview

Elbow arthroscopy typically allows for faster recovery than many shoulder procedures. Early motion is encouraged to prevent stiffness, which is a common complication following elbow surgery. This protocol provides general guidelines—specific modifications may apply based on the procedure performed (loose body removal, debridement, contracture release, etc.).

Important: This protocol is provided as a guideline. Always follow the specific recommendations from Dr. Joshi and your physical therapist, as modifications may be necessary based on your individual surgery and healing progress.
